Velocity Case Competition
Victoria’s first high school business case competition. On September 19, 2026, more than 180 students spent the day at UVic’s Elliott Building working on an ocean-conservation case.
A case competition without the ferry ride
More about VelocityBefore Velocity, high school students in Victoria who wanted to try a business case competition had to travel to Vancouver. Velocity runs one at the University of Victoria instead.
Teams of four to six get a case on the day, build a recommendation and present it to judges from UVic, UBC and SFU. Entry is free. The winning team takes home $1,000, and the top five teams can keep working on their ideas through our Project Incubator.
